Eating before conditioning?
Saturday, I had conditioning at 10:30, but I didn’t eat breakfast. I felt a little dizzy and had a headache. Yesterday, I had Baked Ziti at my lunch which was an hour and a half before conditioning but I still felt sick from it. I had some chicken tenders at school for the past week and felt fine. What should I be eating to make sure that I don’t get sick while conditioning?

Something tells me that "eating" might not be your concern since you feel sick regardless of whether you eat your meal before or after conditioning. I would suggest that you consult your doctor and find out if there is an underlying reason for this. Also make sure that you do not over-exert yourself during conditioning.

Why do Democrats always say that Republicans only want to benefit the rich?
If that is the case, then why do all of the rich people vote democrat? Do you expect me to believe that the rich are concerned about the poor? Ok, it could be that some of them are, but a majority of the rich vote democrat because they have something to gain.

I don’t believe that there are many people in Hollywood who are truly worried about someone who is barely making it. If they are, then prove it! That hasn’t been done. Instead, they push their own evil agenda onto the Republicans.

Why can they not put the blame where it belongs? I’m not the least bit fooled by it.

When I was a young, and still in high school, our family wanted to help a homeless guy. We wanted to let him stay in a trailor that we had out back. But the communist Democrats of our City said that it was against the law to let anyone sleep in a trailor on our property.

It is these liberals who see the poor as worthless pieces of trash! I’m sure there are some good liberals out there, but I have not had the experience of meeting very many of them.
When Democrats raise taxes, I would expect to see a reduced deficit. Instead, all I see is the deficit going down even further.

That is because they are taking our tax money and sticking it in their pockets. They don’t give a damn about the national debt.

We see higher taxes, with worse results than before! Something is wrong with that picture.
Everyone got a tax cut! Not just the rich. That is a big difference from what the communists are saying.
Yeah, well most zoning laws are against the US constitution. What is my property, is my property! I can do whatever the hell I please on my property!

Most of our people in office are Democrats. They are in charge. How can they not be responsible for the zoning laws?

Because their track record of giving unnecessary tax cuts to the top 1% ever since Reagan is pretty solid evidence.

Tyrants need to demonize their enemies… Read 1984… the "Two Minutes’ Hate" and "Hate Week" were very effective in focusing the proles’ attention AWAY from the activities of the Inner Party…

It’s right out of Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals - "Ridicule, personalize, isolate, polarize"
Jimmbbo | Feb 01, 2010

First, don’t blame zoning laws solely on Democrats.

Second, just because there are many socially-minded wealthy Democrats, that doesn’t mean that >conserv<atives don’t want to >conserve< the status quo, in which there is a huge disparity between rich and poor.

For the last two decades, the income levels of the lower and middle classes has not kept up with inflation. I certainly don’t want to conserve that.

Wow, 8 thumbs down already. Oh yeah, school’s out for the day.

yeah most of the richest people in the world and in government are democrats,
barry | Feb 01, 2010

Because they do, and rich people vote Republican (except for hollywood).
John | Feb 01, 2010

Because to a Democrat anyone with a job is "rich"!
Scott | Feb 01, 2010

Because that’s what their sheep like to hear. Most of them can’t read or write so they listen to MSNBC
Liberal thinker | Feb 01, 2010

In recent times, the GOP has favored the wealthy in terms of tax cuts, etc.
maxmom | Feb 01, 2010

True very true!
LOVELYDAY | Feb 01, 2010

Some Democrats say that because they need to make themselves feel superior, even if the superiority is based on lies or hypocrisy.

It’s a class warfare talking point that appeals to the uninformed. Truth is, the majority of wealth is concentrated in the Democrats in this country. Most of the richest people are Democrats too.
Pfo | Feb 01, 2010

and the dems aim to keep them that way .. and relying on the gov’t handouts .. to capture their votes for the progressive agenda
Cpt Crash | Feb 01, 2010

They do not always say that.

Why do phony conservatives always call Dems Communist and Socialist, like that is even possible?
Think 1st | Feb 01, 2010

They try to slander anything that don’t support their position. False allegations, and accuse others of what you stand for. That is just who they are.
rw113 | Feb 01, 2010

To answer you’re question, Libs always want to point fingers to deflect blame from themselves.

Maxmom, how do you figure taxes favor the rich?
Texas Patriot | Feb 01, 2010

This is true. When it comes right down to it, most Progressives don’t really care.

Conservatives are much more likely to give to charity; yes, regardless of income level.

Most of the Rich in Congress are Democrats

This fictitious argument about tax cuts for the rich is bogus. Everyone got a tax cut. If you payed taxes that is

Conservatives are by far, more compassionate to their fellow man, and want to see our Country and society thrive, helping all.

Progressives are the ones that are racist; the ones who see race, in their quota systems. The ones that have redifined "diversity" to mean skin color, rather than differing ideas.
Differing ideas are not what the progressives want; nothing short of obedience to the collective thought police will be tolerated.

Democrats these days seem bent on destroying our economy, creating dependency, etc. And who will they be dependent on? That’s right, Democrats….thus buying their votes. The problem is that Socialism doesn’t work. It never has, anywhere it’s been tried. Europe and Canada have financial problems, high unemployment and would have long ago collapsed if they had to militarily defend themselves all on their own.

And to those Democrats that say they’re not Socialists…explain this…

Taking over a huge portion of private industry

Taking over the health care system….unconstitutional by the way

Redistribution of wealth

How are these not Socialist ideas? Tell me

Democrats, you need to kick the progressives out of your party. they’re destroying it.
Thomas | Feb 01, 2010

those rich liberals know that the Republicans ultimately don’t help the rich or the poor, they help no one as they are incompetent morons
Robin Thicke | Feb 01, 2010

Jimbbo - George Orwell would probably be spinning in his grave if he could hear you referencing his classic in such a fashion.

What gets me is that Democrats say Republicans are rich, then turn around and call us rednecks that live in trailer parks. Can’t have it both ways.
smsmith500 | Feb 01, 2010

Dude you are a NASCAR republican - you aren’t even in the same galaxy as the decision making Republicans. You’ve bitten hard on their newest marketing strategy.

They keep buying advertising promoting - how they are the party of "religious morality" AND the party of "the constitution" AND the party of the "COMMON MAN".

Which is all just gross propaganda designed to mislead the uninformed masses.

They are the "me" party. The party of exploitation. The party of exclusivity, unfair and dishonest business practice - corporate theft, military industrial complex, censorship and social regression.

At least have the common sense to call yourself a libertarian and stop accidentally supporting this borderline monarch institution.

I find it funny how you think Hollywood is some political center of power. *sigh.

Can I please get a real Republican in here to set this kid straight???!?
Nicholas J | Feb 01, 2010

Well you can answer that with the Republican policies and Democratic policies. When the Republicans put their deficit spending policies into action, the people who most benefit are the wealthy because they pay less taxes and control the distribution of wealth in this country. Whether intended or not, that’s how tax cuts effect people. If you are middle class, your tax rates change very little so your benefit is not as much as a wealthy person.

As for the rich voting Democrat, is probably because of self interest. In Hollywood for example, the rich folks support democratic causes for the most part because the people that go to the movies are rarely the wealthy. So, they want their fans to thrive so they’ll have money to see their movies. Also, a lot of these Hollywood types comes from moderate or poor families and haven’t forgot where they came from.

It’s kind of a loaded question.
Redjr01 | Feb 01, 2010

I guess it would be the same if I asked; "How is it possible that those who seem to renounce the money culture are more interested in money?"
Such progressives, sure that they are not overly interested in money and possessions, believe they are then free to acquire them.

Several studies have shown Republicans are more charitable to help human causes, but studies also indicate that those on the Left are less likely to give to charity or volunteer their time to charity. When they do support charity, it is often less the sort of organization that helps people and more likely one that advocates political action.

The rich Democrats believe in "do as I say, not as I do."
