Cake Eaters, The (2007) IMDB rating: 7.70 Plot: ‘The Cake Eaters’ is a quirky, small town, ensemble drama that explores the lives of two interconnected families coming to terms with love in the face of loss. Living in rural America, The Kimbrough family is a normally odd bunch; Easy, the patriarch and local butcher, is grieving over the recent loss of his wife, Ceci, while hiding a secret ongoing affair for years; Beagle, his youngest son who was left to care for his ailing mother, works in the local high school cafeteria by day but has a burning passion inside that manifests itself through painting street signs; and the eldest son, Guy, has been away from the family for years while pursuing his rock star dream in the big city until the day he learns of his mother’s passing and that he’s missed the funeral. Upon Guy’s return home, relationships between the characters begin to unravel; Beagle’s pent up emotions connect with Georgia Kaminski, a terminally ill teenage girl wanting to experience love before it’s too late; Easy’s long time affair with Marg, Georgia’s eccentric grandmother, is finally exposed to the Kimbrough children; and Guy discovers that, in his absence, his high school sweetheart, Stephanie, has moved on and started a family of her own. did i hurt him? ladies and gents help me out here?
i’m outgoing, i love ppl so i usually just go up to ppl and talk to them
but as far as relationships i’ve been burned pretty good a few times so
now its hard for me to talk to ppl once im interested in them.

this guy has been sending mixed signals all year: smiles, stares but won’t talk to me

last week after a class we have together he waited until everyone left the room and stood near the door

well i was talking to the teacher so i just thought we were in his way so i smiled and told him, "you can go" then he said "Okay." in sort of an aggravated tone. then later that day he looked at me with these really sad eyes? was he waiting to talk to me? did i hurt his feelings?

this weekend we were both in columbus for an FBLA conference and he barely talked to me (surprise, surprise) but after conference i texted him saying that the did well at conference and then he was like who is this? and then i said me and then he never returned the text??

does he hate me? did he ever like me?

is this all in my head?

someone give some insight.

i would text him and be like, "i really liked it that day when you were so sweet and waited for me after class:) maybe we could do it again sometime when i dont have to talk to the teacher? i’d like that " thats what i would do… best of luck!!

sounds like what i’ve had with many girls and not got past first base. In all probability he constantly thinks about you, maybe even goes home and cries over his lack of self-confidence to talk to you. Maybe your the girl of his dreams, he is maybe just shy or an eternal fook-up with girls like myself. Think how happy you could make him, you have the power to make those sad eyes glow
